A ball of green confusion!

BBC logoOne of the things we have always found a little depressing about the “CSR sector” in which we are bracketed is the failure of many practitioners within it to coherently articulate the importance of CSR concepts. The results of this state of affairs is more confusion, not less, about the what, why, and how concerning CSR.

We noticed a case in point today. One of the main UK BBC TV channels has a weekday nightly news show called, appropriately enough, Newsnight. Three apparently leading green issue experts debated recently whether the green lobby has got “too radical”. I’m not sure that I understood much, if anything, that was said during this debate. Perhaps the green lobby needs a more personable champion that can do this sort of thing much better?
